Irregular verbs in the present subjunctive
Several verbs, which happen to be quite commonly used, like
dar, estar,
haber, ir,
saber, ser,
and ver, are irregular
in the present subjunctive. Other verbs, which appear to be irregular
in fact simply add regular subjunctive endings to the irregular
present indicative stem. An example of this would be tener,
whose present subjunctive forms, based on tengo, are
tenga, tengas, tenga, etc. The following is a complete list of
the truly irregular verbs in the present subjunctive:
