Extended infinitive clauses:
Infinitve clauses are often used to express inclinations or disinclinations. Example sentences:
- Ich habe Lust, ins Kino zu gehen. (I feel like going to the movies.)
- Er hat keine Zeit, auf Feste zu gehen. (He has no time to go to parties.)
- Sie beabsichtigt, eine neue Stelle zu suchen. (She intends to look for a new job.)
- Wir haben vor, uns im nächsten Sommer wiederzusehen. (We are planning to see each other again next summer.)
